Job description

About Tuner

Tuner is the reliability layer for voice agents. Teams use us to test agents before they ship, watch every call in production, and fix what breaks. We work with Vapi, Retell, LiveKit, Pipecat, ElevenLabs and custom stacks.

We've done this before. Our founding team built Ginni AI, a voice AI platform that handled over a million real calls, and Eventtus, which was acquired by Bevy.

The role

This is our first DevRel hire and a core GTM role. You'll help developers discover Tuner, get started, and build more reliable voice agents.

Your first focus will be practical technical content and developer onboarding: building demos, sharing what you learn, and helping developers get to their first successful test or analyzed call.

You'll work directly with the CEO and our engineering and GTM teams. You'll have room to experiment and shape the role, with us working alongside you on priorities, technical questions and launches.

You don't need to have held a DevRel title before. You might be a developer who loves explaining things, a technical creator, or someone who's been building voice agents and sharing what you learn. We care more about what you've made and how you communicate than years of experience.

What you'll own

Your first priorities:
  • Technical content and demos. Build working examples and turn them into useful videos, tutorials and blog posts. You'll take over and grow our YouTube channel.
  • Developer onboarding. Make the path from sign-up to first test run or first analyzed call as short as possible. Improve quickstarts, sample agents and docs based on where developers actually get stuck.
  • Developer feedback. Spend time with users, help teams get started, and bring their questions and frustrations back to product and engineering teams. Turn recurring problems into better docs, content and product improvements.
You'll also work with the team on:
  • Community. Be active where voice AI developers spend time. Answer questions, share useful work, and help shape the Tuner community.
  • Events. Help run meetups, workshops and hackathons in London and beyond, and share what we're learning through talks and demos.
  • Launches. Work with engineering and GTM to show developers what shipped, why it matters and how to use it.
You'll help developers with integrations, with engineering supporting deeper technical troubleshooting.

You might be a fit if

  • You can build and ship real code in Python or TypeScript, and know how to use AI tools to move faster, from prototyping demos to debugging integrations. You understand what you ship and can explain how it works. Side projects and hackathon builds count.
  • You've experimented with voice agents and want to go deeper.
  • You enjoy explaining technical ideas clearly through writing, demos or video. We'd love to see examples.
  • You're comfortable on camera and on stage, or excited to practise.
  • You like talking to users and understanding where they're getting stuck.
  • You take initiative, finish what you start, and learn from feedback.
  • You're based in London or happy to move, and can join local events and regular in-person time with the team.
Huge plus, but not required
  • You've worked with voice AI tools such as Vapi, Retell, LiveKit, Pipecat or ElevenLabs.
  • You've built a voice AI product or side project.
  • You're active in developer communities, have contributed to open source, or have organised meetups.
  • You've created technical content that helped other developers build something.

What we offer

  • Meaningful founding equity
  • A remote-first team, with regular in-person time and events in London
  • Direct access to the founders and real ownership from day one
  • Support from engineering and GTM as you build the function
  • The chance to help shape how developers build reliable voice agents

How to apply

Show us something you've made: a repo, tutorial, video, talk, technical post or side project. Existing work is welcome, you don't need to create something new for this application.

Include a short video or note telling us:

  • Why you'd like to be Tuner's first DevRel
  • What you'd be excited to build or improve in your first few weeks
We're most interested in how you think, build and explain things.
