Embedded Software Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

- Experience working with PLC programming and control systems - Knowledge of automation systems within industrial environments - Experience with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley platforms (or similar) - Understanding of electrical systems and control panel design - Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (desirable) - Experience within industrial or manufacturing environments (desirable) - Exposure to commissioning or on-site project work (desirable)

Responsibilities:

- Designing, developing, and implementing control and automation systems - Programming PLCs and HMIs using industry-standard platforms - Supporting full project lifecycle delivery, including testing and commissioning - Troubleshooting and resolving issues within control systems - Collaborating with internal teams to deliver project requirements - Producing technical documentation and system specifications - Supporting on-site installations and occasional travel to customer sites
