We are seeking a talented Flutter Developer to join our dynamic team within a major UK-based investment platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to embed yourself into a long-term mobile app programme that serves thousands of users daily. The role offers flexibility with remote, hybrid, or onsite working arrangements, with office locations in Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, and London, all within 30 miles of your location.

As a Flutter Developer, you will be instrumental in delivering high-performance, reliable, and scalable mobile applications. You will work on a high-traffic product, focusing on enhancing user experience and ensuring app stability at scale. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and performance of the mobile platform, shaping the future of digital investment services in the UK.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, designers, and QA specialists, to develop, test, and deploy features that meet business needs and technical standards.

Your role will involve building new functionalities, improving existing features, and ensuring the app's robustness through comprehensive testing and automation practices.

• *Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you should possess a solid foundation in mobile development with proven commercial experience in Flutter and Dart. A strong understanding of building and shipping mobile applications is essential, along with familiarity with testing methodologies and automation tools. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Additional qualifications include experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Bitrise, and an understanding of performance optimization and maintainability best practices. A background in working on high-traffic applications and knowledge of scalable architecture principles will be advantageous.

• *Responsibilities**

Build and maintain production-grade Flutter applications that meet high standards of quality and performance.

Deliver features end-to-end, from initial implementation through to deployment and release, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.

Contribute to comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, widget, integration, and end-to-end testing, to ensure application stability and reliability.

Support ongoing improvements in app performance, reliability, and maintainability by analyzing metrics and implementing best practices.

Work closely with CI/CD pipelines, utilizing tools such as GitHub Actions and Bitrise to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

Collaborate effectively with product teams, designers, and QA to deliver features that align with user needs and business objectives.

Follow and contribute to engineering best practices, code reviews, and documentation to maintain a high standard of code quality across the team.
