About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our client's dynamic team on a permanent basis. This hybrid role based in Dorset offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects utilizing Java with Spring Boot, Angular, and SQL. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining full-stack applications that meet the company's technical standards and business objectives.

This role requires a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. You will have the chance to contribute to impactful projects, improve existing systems, and participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in full-stack development with proven experience in Java (Spring Boot), Angular, and SQL. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have a solid understanding of RESTful API development, front-end and back-end integration, and database management.

Prior experience working in agile environments, version control systems such as Git, and familiarity with cloud platforms is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient full-stack applications using Java with Spring Boot, Angular, and SQL databases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze technical specifications, and deliver high-quality solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of applications. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into projects.

Support deployment activities and provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements to existing systems. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
