About The Role The Lead Full Stack Java Developer at Searchability NS&D plays a pivotal role in guiding a small, skilled team of engineers while remaining actively involved in the hands-on design and development of high-performance, secure applications. This role involves overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, from initial architecture and coding to deployment and ongoing improvement. The successful candidate will ensure that all solutions adhere to stringent security and performance standards required in government and defense environments.

Collaborating closely with architects, DevOps specialists, and delivery leads, the Lead Developer will champion best practices, drive technical excellence, and foster a culture of continuous innovation. Qualifications The ideal candidate must possess an active Security Clearance (SC) or be eligible and willing to undergo the clearance process. They should have a robust background in Java development, particularly with Spring Boot, and proven experience in delivering full-stack solutions using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. A solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is essential.

Experience working within cloud environments, particularly AWS, and knowledge of secure software design principles applicable to government or defense sectors are highly desirable. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills, with a track record of leading technical teams and delivering complex projects successfully.

Responsibilities
