About The Role We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining scalable web applications that support our mission of animal welfare. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in both front-end and back-end development, with a passion for creating efficient, secure, and user-friendly digital solutions.

Working within a remote-first environment, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and veterinary specialists, to deliver innovative features and enhancements. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to provide life-saving and life-improving care to animals in need worldwide.

Qualifications The successful candidate will have proven experience in full-stack development, with a solid understanding of modern web technologies.

Essential qualifications include proficiency in React, Next.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript, along with experience working with Prisma ORM and SQL databases. Familiarity with RESTful API design, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows is required. The role also demands excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and effective communication skills suitable for remote collaboration.

A background in developing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications is highly desirable.

Responsibilities Design and develop scalable back-end services utilizing Prisma ORM and SQL to support platform functionalities.

Create reusable, maintainable front-end components using React and Next.js to enhance user experience.

Develop and maintain robust APIs to facilitate seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.

Translate UX/UI wireframes into responsive and accessible user interfaces that work across various devices and browsers.

Ensure data integrity, security, and optimal system performance through rigorous testing and best practices.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define features, user stories, and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Work autonomously within a remote-first team environment, delivering high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code.
