Full Stack Software Development - Javascript/Python/.Net (Glasgow)
Software Tec Lab is a specialist software development consultancy based in Glasgow. We deliver tailored software engineering for clients developing pioneering electronic devices, apps, and cloud solutions.
We are seeking a self-motivated, software consultant with multiplatform experience to help develop innovative technology solutions for our clients. This is a high-profile, hands-on consultancy role, with opportunity for you to benefit from lots of variety, and be rewarded for successful development projects.
Essential Technical skills:
- 3+ years experience of professional hands-on coding for front-end and full stack developments;
- A keen eye for translating design input into user applications and services;
- Experience in UI/application development for web/mobile Apps (Javascript);
- Expertise in implementing backend APIs (including Python/.Net & Databases)
- Familiarity with Azure/AWS Cloud platform developments;
- Proficiency with Git;
- Develops high-quality code, employing unit testing and adhering to best coding practices;
- Full lifecycle software development.
The following desirable skills are a plus for the candidate (where more is better)
- Degree qualification in Software, Computing, IT, Electronics or equivalent;
- Broad software development skills are preferred (Python, JavaScript, C#, C/C++, Java…);
- Working knowledge of Docker/Containerisation;
- Someone who leads and is committed to ensuring quality is built in.
- True interest in software development and investigating cutting edge technology.
We are building an exciting capability for development projects across a range of clients. The role is based at our office in Glasgow city centre, and arrangements for periods of home-working can be explored.
