We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer who is not only a strong engineer, but also comfortable working in a modern AI-augmented development environment.
You’ll play a key role in evolving our platform contributing to both enhancements of existing systems and building new product capabilities. You’ll work in a collaborative, product-focused team that values speed, quality, and continuous improvement.
This role reports to: Tech Lead & Software Delivery Manager
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to shape and deliver scalable features
- Design, build, and maintain applications and services with a focus on performance, usability, and reliability
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and automate repetitive tasks
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit, integration, and end-to-end)
- Ensure high-quality releases through CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Monitor, debug, and optimise applications in production environments
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, tooling, and workflows
- Support deployments and provide post-release support when needed
Core Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Python and Django
- Solid front-end skills: JavaScript (modern ES6+), HTML5, CSS
- Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and modern DevOps practices
- Experience working with REST APIs and JSON-based services
- Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL or similar)
- Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and release management
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Understanding of web performance, security, and best practices
Modern / AI-Driven Development Skills (Highly Valued)
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
- Ability to effectively prompt, review, and validate AI-generated code
- Experience integrating LLMs or AI services into applications (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic APIs)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted debugging, refactoring, and test generation
- Understanding of AI limitations, security considerations, and code quality risks
Desirable Skills
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, TypeScript)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Exposure to observability tools (logging, monitoring, tracing)
- Experience with reporting/analytics tools
