We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join CGI’s dynamic team working on a critical national authentication platform within the UK healthcare sector. This hybrid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the modernization and enhancement of vital identity and authentication services that enable healthcare professionals to access essential systems securely and efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new features, resolving high-priority incidents, and supporting the ongoing evolution of the platform. Your work will directly impact the security and reliability of national healthcare infrastructure, providing a meaningful and rewarding experience.

• *Qualifications**

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Java development, complemented by a strong DevOps mindset and experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. You should be comfortable working across the full technology stack and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration tools is essential. Knowledge of database management systems like PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server is also required. Additionally, familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and understanding of identity and access management tools will be advantageous. Candidates must hold or be eligible for UK Security Clearance due to the sensitive nature of the project.
