They are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Java Engineer to join their dynamic development team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a highly regarded technology function within a large, established financial services environment. The successful candidate will be involved in building robust, high-performance systems used by clients across international markets. The team operates in an agile, delivery-focused manner and values engineers who enjoy solving complex problems and creating impactful software solutions. This position provides genuine ownership across the entire development lifecycle—from initial design through to production support—working closely with product, trading, and support stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that drive business success.

• *Qualifications
• Proven commercial experience with Java and modern backend frameworks such as Spring
• Front-end experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web technologies, and relational databases
• Experience working in performance-critical or complex systems environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience

• Designing and developing scalable Java-based services utilizing modern frameworks to meet business requirements
• Building and enhancing web applications using Angular and TypeScript to deliver seamless user experiences
• Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and system optimization
• Collaborating closely with product managers, trading teams, and support staff to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions
• Contributing to agile delivery practices, engaging in technical discussions, and promoting continuous improvement
