This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will contribute to the development and enhancement of a cutting-edge eFX trading platform. You will work closely with quantitative analysts, traders, and technology teams to drive automation, optimize performance, and increase revenue streams. Sitting within the Principal Flow Trading stream, this position provides full ownership of the development lifecycle, from analysis and design to implementation and deployment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronic trading, particularly within eFX markets. Proven experience in developing low-latency, event-driven algorithmic trading platforms is essential. Advanced proficiency in Java, including techniques for lock-free programming and low garbage collection, is required. Familiarity with messaging protocols such as Aeron, Kafka, FIX, SBE, ITCH, and OUCH is important, along with knowledge of time-series databases like KDB and proficiency in Python for analytics purposes.
Experience working collaboratively with quantitative teams to implement algorithmic models is highly desirable. Additionally, full-stack development experience, especially with React for building trader tools and dashboards, is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, a keen understanding of trading workflows, and the ability to operate effectively in an agile environment.
Develop and maintain a low-latency, high-throughput eFX algorithmic trading platform to meet the evolving needs of global markets. Take ownership of initiatives from conception through deployment, including conducting thorough analysis, designing system architectures, implementing code, and delivering robust solutions. Design, implement, and back-test pricing models and execution strategies to optimize trading performance. Build analytics tools to monitor model accuracy and platform health, ensuring high reliability and efficiency. Enhance the proprietary eTrading framework, integrating new features and improving existing functionalities used across the global markets division. Collaborate closely with quantitative analysts, traders, and technology teams in an agile setting to deliver innovative solutions that drive revenue growth and operational excellence. Maintain a focus on low-latency performance, system stability, and scalability to support high-frequency trading activities.
