Are you a Bazel expert ready to shape the future of developer infrastructure for thousands of engineers? We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a high-impact Platform Developer Experience (PDX) team, driving the transition to massive-scale monorepos and high-performance CI/CD systems using Java and Starlark.

• *The Role
• Lead the evolution of a unified, robust, and scalable monorepo ecosystem designed for millions of lines of code.
• Build and maintain sophisticated developer abstractions and tooling to optimize the end-to-end Developer Experience (DevEx).
• Support and scale mission-critical Version Control Systems (VCS) and CI/CD pipelines at an enterprise fleet management level.
• Collaborate across R&D studios to define "best-in-class" monorepo standards and high-speed build protocols.
• Drive major migrations toward unified builds, ensuring efficiency and developer productivity across the entire global engineering org.

• Deep, hands-on expertise with the Bazel build system and its broader ecosystem (rules\_jvm\_external, Starlark, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in Backend development using Java, complemented by skills in Python and TypeScript.
• Proven experience managing and scaling massive monorepo-based codebases in a high-growth environment.
• Mastery of IDE integrations, specifically the IntelliJ Bazel plugin, to streamline engineering workflows.
• A passion for internal tooling, infrastructure-as-code, and eliminating developer friction.
