Are you an SC Cleared Java pro looking for a high-impact remote contract? We are seeking a talented developer to design and build robust, mission-critical applications using a modern Spring Boot and Docker stack. This is a fast-paced agile environment where you will leverage TDD and CI/CD best practices to deliver high-quality code at scale.
The Role
- Lead the design and development of high-performance Java applications utilizing the Spring Boot framework.
- Manage and optimize complex relational databases, specifically working with Postgres and SQL to ensure data integrity.
- Architect and deploy containerized solutions using Docker to streamline our cloud-native environment.
- Champion code quality by implementing Test-Driven Development (TDD) using Junit and Mockito.
- Own the delivery pipeline by integrating CI/CD processes via Jenkins to ensure seamless, automated deployments.
What You'll Need
- Active SC Clearance is mandatory for this role due to the nature of the projects.
- Deep technical expertise in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Proven experience with Postgres or other major relational SQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Jenkins, and modern CI/CD pipeline tooling.
- Strong background in Agile methodologies and TDD (Junit/Mockito).
- Bonus points for knowledge of Kafka, React, TypeScript, Liquibase, or OpenAPI/Swagger.
