• *The Role
• Act as a technical lead and analyst for complex Java-based assignments within the LCST programme.
• Build and integrate in-house products designed to support core messaging and logistics capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on production issues, participating in deep-dive peer code reviews for Java and Jakarta EE environments.
• Build robust Java programs that interact with complex Oracle database environments and IBM MQ messaging systems.
• Drive build and deployment best practices within a highly disciplined SDLC framework.
• *What You'll Need
• Solid professional experience in Java development with a strong grasp of JAX-RS, JSF, and JMS.
• Hands-on experience working within Linux environments and cloud-hosted architectures (specifically AWS).
• Technical proficiency in Oracle database development, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with modern specialized tools like Jakarta 10+, XML, Git, and integration experience with XSLT or IBM Sterling OMS.
• Eligibility for UK SC Clearance (British Passport/residency requirements apply).
