The Role

• Lead the technical development and optimization of high-performance, server-side systems for Equity Derivatives trading.
• Engineer robust, scalable solutions using Java within an AWS cloud environment, ensuring maximum uptime for critical business functions.
• Architect complex database schemas and optimize queries within an enterprise Oracle environment.
• Drive operational excellence by implementing and enhancing automated CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery cycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate domain expertise across multiple asset classes into the core technology stack.

What You'll Need

• 10+ years of deep expertise in Server Side Java development, specifically within large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven track record in Financial Services or Investment Banking, demonstrating a strong understanding of Equity Derivatives or similar asset classes.
• Hands-on mastery of AWS Cloud services and extensive experience navigating Linux/Unix environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Oracle database development and high-level performance tuning.
• Expert-level knowledge of modern DevOps practices, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD automation tools.
