Requirements
Must have:
- Strong front-end and back-end development skills - Experience working with AWS cloud environments - Experience designing, developing, and implementing robust and secure Java software solutions using Core Java and Spring Boot - Experience with AWS cloud services such as S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Athena, Glue, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, CloudFormation, API Gateway, ECS, and CloudWatch - Familiarity with Core Java, Spring Boot, AWS cloud services, AngularJS, Jenkins, NodeJS, SQL/NoSQL databases, DynamoDB, GitHub, backend, frontend, CI/CD, DevOps, Kotlin, and GOV.UK - Understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps concepts is advantageous - Experience with Docker and containerisation is advantageous - AWS Associate Developer accreditation is advantageous

We are a leading global IT transformation business specialising in delivering large-scale Government digital modernisation projects. This is a permanent Java Developer opportunity based in Leeds with a hybrid working arrangement of 2 days per week remote and 3 days per week on-site. The role offers a salary of £80,000 to £90,000 depending on experience, a 10% bonus, pension, death in service, health care plan, and more. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible, ideally in May or June 2026.
