Hyra is working on behalf of Lynx Recruitment Limited to hire for the position of Senior Java Developer. This role involves working within a large global IT consultancy to deliver cutting-edge solutions for enterprise-level clients. You will be part of a team focused on solving complex business and technology problems through high-quality software engineering.

What you'll be doing

• Engaging in the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment
• Designing and developing robust, scalable applications using Java and modern frameworks
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges for enterprise clients
• Ensuring code quality through rigorous testing and adhering to industry best practices
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and system architecture

What we're looking for

• Extensive professional experience in Java development within an enterprise environment
• Proven track record of delivering software solutions throughout the full development lifecycle
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles
• Experience working within a consultancy or large-scale technical service provider
• Must have the right to work in the UK and be eligible for security vetting if required
