Requirements
Must have:
- Strong front-end and back-end development skills - Experience working in AWS cloud environments - Strong experience with Core Java and Spring Boot - Knowledge of AWS Cloud Services, including AWS S3, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Athena, Glue, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, CloudFormation, API Gateway, ECS, and CloudWatch - Experience with AngularJS - Experience with Jenkins, NodeJS, SQL/NoSQL databases, GitHub, CI/CD, DevOps, and Kotlin - Understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps concepts is advantageous - Experience with Docker and containerisation is advantageous - AWS Associate Developer accreditation is advantageous

We are a leading global IT transformation business specialising in delivering large-scale Government digital modernisation projects. This is a permanent Java Developer role based in Leeds with hybrid working, offering 2 days per week remote and 3 days per week onsite. The role is due to start ASAP, ideally in May/June 2026, and offers a salary of £80,000 to £90,000 DOE plus a 10% bonus, pension, death in service, health care plan, and more.
