You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values clean code, pragmatic decision-making, and continuous improvement—working closely with product, design, and DevOps to ship meaningful features at pace.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and building scalable backend services using Java and modern frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot)
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features end-to-end
• Improving system performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Writing clean, testable code and contributing to best practices across the team
• Supporting deployments and monitoring production systems
• Taking ownership of features—from idea through to release

Tech you’ll work with

• Java (core + modern versions)
• Spring Boot / Spring ecosystem
• RESTful APIs & microservices architecture
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Databases (SQL / NoSQL)

What we’re looking for

• Experience building applications in Java in a commercial environment
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and scalable systems
• Familiarity with cloud environments and modern deployment practices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• A mindset of ownership and continuous improvement
