Java Engineer - Glasgow

Investment Banking - 5 days onsite - 12 month contract The Role:

You'll be working as a Java Software Engineer on an initial 12-month contract in Glasgow on a long term project for a leader in investment banking and financial services

What your day consists of:

Creating software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting and developing secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugging code written by others

You'll be a great fit if you have:

Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Data JPA

Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle

SQL/relational data models with experience in Cassandra, Cockroach and NoSQL structure a plus.
