Java full stack developer

6–12 years of hands-on experience delivering large-scale Java (17+) applications using Spring-based frameworks.

Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Integration, Spring Batch, and Microservices architecture.

Proven experience working on public sector / government programmes, ideally with live production systems.

Expertise in in Angular, TypeScript and Node JS.

Hands-on experience in supporting live systems, incident diagnosis, and production issue resolution.

Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP web services and large-scale system integrations.

Experience with messaging systems such as ActiveMQ for distributed and event-driven architectures.

Solid experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, SQS, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, Route53, KMS, and CloudWatch.

Strong database skills using PostgreSQL/Aurora, including SQL development and performance tuning.

Experience with containerisation using Docker and deployment in cloud-based environments.

Strong testing mindset with experience in TDD/BDD and frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, TestContainers.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, and related DevOps tooling.

Experience developing in Linux environments and working with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).

Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work in agile teams (Scrum/Kanban).
