Java Full Stack Developer

Requirements

Must have:

- We require strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot, including RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

• We require experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• We require front-end development experience with Angular, React, or Vue.js, along with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• We require experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
• We require version control experience with Git and GitHub or GitLab.
• We value knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and orchestration.
• We value experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
• We value exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• We value familiarity with API Gateway technologies and security frameworks such as OAuth2, JWT, or Keycloak.
• We value understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities:

- We build and maintain Java-based microservices with Spring Boot, ensuring scalability and performance.

• We develop front-end applications using modern frameworks such as Angular or React to deliver seamless user experiences.
• We integrate workflows with external systems through REST APIs, messaging queues, and cloud services.
• We collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• We ensure code quality, security, and performance optimization across the full stack.
• We participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• We troubleshoot and resolve production issues and support deployment activities.
• We stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency.

We are hiring a Java Full Stack Developer for a 12-month contract based in Manchester, UK, with a hybrid working arrangement of three days per week in the office.
