Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and enhance high-quality software solutions that deliver measurable value for clients and end users.
- Drive engineering excellence through robust design practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of scalable and maintainable application architectures that support long-term business goals.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery, seamless integration, and positive customer outcomes.
- Champion secure, reliable, and resilient software delivery practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support agile delivery by actively contributing to planning, estimation, prioritisation, and iterative solution development.
- Engage confidently with client and internal stakeholders, providing clear communication and trusted technical guidance.
- Promote the adoption of AI-enabled ways of working and continuous learning to enhance delivery effectiveness and innovation.
- Mentor and support team members, helping to cultivate a collaborative and future-ready engineering culture.
Must-Have Skills
- Proven experience in full stack software engineering with a track record of delivering business-focused solutions.
- Strong experience in frontend development using React or React Native.
- Strong Java development experience, including enterprise application delivery.
- Expertise in the Spring Boot framework.
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems principles.
- Experience working with SQL and relational database technologies.
- Practical application of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
- Experience implementing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Knowledge of secure coding principles and application security best practices.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, Continuous Delivery, and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, consulting, and client-facing communication skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Awareness of AI-driven approaches and a commitment to continuously evolving engineering practices.
