Java Software Engineer

We're working with a rapidly expanding manufacturing technology innovator on this exciting opportunity.

This is a rare chance to join a founding in-house software team and lead a high-impact greenfield project. You will leverage a modern stack featuring Java 17, Spring Boot, and AWS to build a best-in-class production automation system from the ground up.

The Role

• Lead the end-to-end development of a "greenfield" production management system using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate on architectural decisions, proposing changes to Java infrastructure and investigating cutting-edge alternative technologies.
• Implement Domain Driven Design (DDD) principles to ensure highly scalable and maintainable enterprise software.
• Drive software analysis, programming, and testing cycles using TDD/BDD methodologies to ensure zero-defect delivery.
• Build and integrate full-stack components using React.js and TypeScript to create seamless user interfaces for production staff.

What You'll Need

• Expert-level proficiency in Java 17+ and the Spring Boot ecosystem for building robust microservices.
• Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB and cloud infrastructure development within AWS.
• Proven experience with containerization using Docker and implementing CI/CD automation (Jenkins).
• Familiarity with modern frontend technologies including React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• A passion for Reactive Programming (Spring Webflux/Project Reactor) and Cloud Native development using AWS SDK/CDK.
