Requirements
Must have:
- A passion for software development and a genuine desire to learn and build our career - Exposure to software development, an IT environment or the healthcare sector - Good problem-solving skills and the curiosity to explore new ideas and technologies - Good written and verbal communication skills - The ability to build positive working relationships and contribute effectively as part of a team - Good organisational and time management skills - An interest in continuous improvement, innovation and embracing change - Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, such as Copilot, Gemini, Cline or similar technologies - At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths Grade C/Grade 4 or above
Responsibilities:
- Produce production code and participate in code reviews under guidance - Follow established development processes and best practices - Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and development approaches - Help integrate sustainable practices into software development activities - Work as part of a collaborative Agile team to design, develop and deliver high-quality software - Work closely with Product Owners, developers and subject matter experts to understand requirements, solve problems and deliver solutions that meet customer needs - Gain experience across every stage of the software development lifecycle - Get involved in AI-assisted software development and contribute to products that support new and existing prescribing systems
