For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer for a long contract based in Edinburgh, UK

Key Responsibilities

Lead a Feature Team delivering features for flagship Marketplace products.

Champion software-engineering best practices across the API Lab.

Design and build solutions aligned with the broader technical strategy.

Collaborate within Agile teams to optimise delivery and accelerate iteration cycles.

Provide continuous feedback and promote high-quality engineering standards.

Mandatory Skills

Java / React

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

DevOps experience

Experience in technical leadership and solution design

Essential Technical Skills

Strong software-engineering background with hands-on design and implementation experience.

Frontend and backend experience with one or more of the following:

React

TypeScript

HTML, CSS

Deep experience building and managing APIs:

REST

GraphQL

Microservices

Experience with at least one major cloud provider:

GCP (preferred)

Azure or AWS
