  • *About The Role**
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead Full Stack Developer to join a fast-growing UK SaaS technology company based within Hampshire. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge digital products that empower commercial teams to better understand and engage with their customers. As a hands-on technical leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the next generation of customer-facing platforms. You will be involved from the early design phase through to production deployment, working with a modern cloud-based stack and deploying updates to live environments on a daily basis. This position provides a unique chance to lead technical initiatives, influence architectural decisions, and mentor a talented development team, all while working within a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • *Qualifications**
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full stack development with a minimum of 10+ years of experience. You should possess at least 5+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, demonstrating a deep understanding of modern web technologies. A solid foundation in system design, scalable architectures, and experience building large SaaS platforms is essential. Candidates should adhere to best coding practices, including SOLID principles, design patterns, and writing testable code.

Experience working within mature CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications in cloud environments such as AWS is highly desirable. A degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience is required. Excellent collaboration skills, stakeholder engagement, and a passion for continuous improvement and innovation are crucial for success in this role.

  • *Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical delivery of projects across a high-performing development squad, ensuring timely and quality outputs.
  • Contribute to solution design, system architecture, and domain modeling to ensure scalable and maintainable systems.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts and address complex or uncertain technical areas through spike solutions.
  • Break down requirements into manageable epics and user stories in collaboration with product and initiative managers.
  • Design, develop, and deliver production-ready code across the full technology stack, adhering to best practices.
  • Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Support and optimize live systems post-deployment, ensuring stability and performance.
  • Influence and shape the technical direction, tooling, and engineering practices across the organization.
  • Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • *Benefits
  • Competitive salary package complemented by comprehensive benefits.
  • Hybrid working model offering flexibility, with one day per week in the Fareham office.
  • Opportunity to be part of a scaling SaaS business with significant growth potential.
  • Engagement in a strong engineering culture focused on quality, best practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Supportive and collaborative work environment that encourages professional development.
  • Participation in community initiatives and charity events, including volunteer days.
