We're working with a leading data-driven consultancy specializing in digital transformation on this exciting opportunity. This is a high-impact 12-month FTC for a technical leader to build scalable reporting solutions while shaping the BI maturity of a major enterprise environment.

You will leverage Azure Databricks and Power BI to transform complex data into actionable insights, engaging directly with C-suite stakeholders to drive a data-first culture. This role is perfect for a DAX expert who enjoys both hands-on engineering and mentoring others to reach technical excellence.

The Role

• Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of high-performance Power BI dashboards, reports, and complex data models.
• Own the Power BI Service environment, managing workspaces, deployment pipelines, and governance standards.
• Implement robust security protocols including Row-Level Security (RLS) and Azure AD integration.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to optimize pipelines using Databricks and ensure star schema best practices.
• Act as a technical mentor, coaching existing teams to embed best practices in DAX optimization and report design.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in a Lead Power BI Developer role with a track record of delivering enterprise-level reporting solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in DAX and SQL, with a deep understanding of performance optimization and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with the Azure data stack, specifically Databricks and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central / Navision.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to present technical insights to C-suite and senior leadership.
• Experience managing Power BI governance, including lifecycle management and DevOps practices.
