Linux Systems Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

- We need advanced Linux OS knowledge, including bare metal experience.

• We need experience with data centre operations.
• We need experience working on critical low latency systems.
• We need good knowledge of networking.
• We need strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

- We manage a large-scale clients trading infrastructure and data centre to help ensure no downtime.

• We work on bare metal Linux systems, hardware, networking, and data centre operations.
• We occasionally attend the data centre in Slough as needed.

We are a global fintech solutions provider offering a Linux Systems Engineer opportunity focused on low latency trading infrastructure. This is a remote UK role with the majority of work done from home, and occasional visits to our data centre in Slough with expenses paid. Youll join a collaborative international team and act as the sole engineer in the UK, supporting a large-scale clients critical trading environment.
