Material Planner

Role Details:

In this role you will be supporting the First Fit Planning team in the role of Expeditor.

Main tasks include the validation of shipment plans with Suppliers, maintaining a 5-day rolling shipment plan, supporting with the inbound PO management and tracking shipments into different sites.

You will also be involved in Daily / Weekly review meetings.

Previous planning experience is not required but candidates with a supply chain or logistics background are preferred.

Candidates will need to be highly organized, customer focused and have great attention to detail.

Competencies:

Materials Planning System Utilization - Uses thematerials planning system to manage supply and demand plans taking long-term corrective action on exception messages and other alerts based on root cause analysis; occasionally refers to adhoc tools such as Excel, Access, TOAD, OMS, etc. in performing problem solving, while leveraging thematerials planning system as the primary tool in day-to-day operations.
