About The Role We are seeking a motivated Junior .NET Developer to join our dynamic team in Reading on a hybrid work arrangement. This role offers an excellent opportunity for early-career developers to gain practical experience in software development within a collaborative environment.

As a Junior .NET Developer at Technify Talent Limited, you will be supporting the design, development, and maintenance of innovative software applications. Working closely with senior developers, you will contribute to various phases of the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and documentation. This position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their technical skills, learn best practices, and grow within a supportive team.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of Microsoft .NET technologies and programming in C#. Familiarity with .NET Core or .NET development is essential.

Basic knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or MariaDB will be advantageous. Candidates should have experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and an understanding of collaborative development workflows. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with effective communication abilities, are critical for success in this role.

While not mandatory, exposure to containerisation (e.g., Docker), message queue technologies like RabbitMQ, and cloud-based tools such as Azure DevOps will be considered a plus. A keen interest in expanding knowledge in areas such as Python, C++, image processing, or geospatial calculations is also desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and enhancement of software applications and components using .NET technologies.
• Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing systems, including bug investigation and resolution.
