This role will suit a Strong Lead Network Architect, Cloud and Automation or an automation-first network architect/engineering lead or manager.
You will lead a workstream of 3-5 network engineers on project delivery and BAU operations. You will be tasked with vide technical mentorship, code reviews, and design peer reviews, act as technical escalation point for complex incidents and problems.
The ideal candidate will be a design authority discussions and architecture governance forums, represent network engineering, design and maintain cloud connectivity across AWS and Azure and support DORA compliance.
Candidate who can drive infrastructure-as-code practices, advocated for true NetDevOps approach with management and enterprise architecture to move away from an approach focused on AWS device provisioning to one covering provisioning, self service, and configuration management.
AI/ML tools for network observability and predictive analytics
PRA/FCA regulatory frameworks + DORA The Role
Migration of complex legacy workloads to cloud currently at 50% cloud-hosted
Build and maintain hybrid connectivity models ensuring resilience & performance
Deliver network solutions across routing (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), switching (VXLAN, ACI, spine-leaf), wireless, and WAN/SD-WAN
Drive infrastructure-as-code practices using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Git-based version control
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network configuration changes
Integrate network automation with CMDB and source-of-truth platforms (e.g. NetBox, ServiceNow)
Implement and evolve AIOps tooling for network monitoring, incident triage, anomaly detection, and capacity planning
Support AI feature adoption in collaboration platforms, including Zoom AI (meeting intelligence, transcription, AI companion)
Evaluate emerging AI/ML tools for network observability and predictive analytics
Design telemetry pipelines, logging standards, and alerting frameworks
Operate within PRA/FCA regulatory frameworks + DORA
10+ years in enterprise network engineering with hands-on architecture and design delivery
Strong multi-vendor experience. Not limited to a single vendor ecosystem
Demonstrable cloud networking (AWS and/or Azure) in production environments
Practical automation experience with at least two of: Ansible, Terraform, Python, CI/CD pipelines
Network security design including NGFW, segmentation, and identity-based access
HLD/LLD creation and peer review
Experience in regulated environments, ideally financial services
Understanding of DORA, PRA/FCA operational resilience requirements, or equivalent regulatory frameworks
