Network and Systems Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability - Good communication across technical and nontechnical teams - Solid understanding of systems and networks - Organisational and time-management skills - Willingness to adapt and grow in a fast-moving environment - Trustworthy and dependable - Proactive in improving systems, processes, and performance - Calm under pressure, especially during outages

Responsibilities:

- Maintain, monitor, and optimise networks, servers, systems, and core infrastructure - Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across environments - Implement strong backup, recovery, and security practices - Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for the wider team - Roll out upgrades, patches, and enhancements to improve performance and reliability - Act as the initial point of contact, providing 1st line technical support to end users
