Requirements
Must have:
- We are looking for a degree-educated candidate in a technical discipline, ideally with a 2.1 or above in Computer Science from a top-tier university.
- We need experience at Principal Software Engineer level, with a track record of making architectural decisions, taking ownership, and driving best practices.
- We need advanced Python development skills, including Flask, NumPy, Pandas, and SQLAlchemy.
- We need strong AWS knowledge, including ECS, Lambda, RDS, and S3.
- We need experience working on large-scale, distributed systems.
- Experience in financial services or FinTech is highly desirable, along with a strong interest in this space.
- We value excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
- We lead the technical direction of a large-scale, cloud-native analytics platform.
- We combine hands-on software development with architectural leadership and technical strategy.
- We define architectural standards and review solution designs across multiple engineering teams.
- We tackle complex technical challenges and help ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability are built into solutions from the outset.
- We mentor senior developers and drive engineering excellence.
- We work closely with both technical and business stakeholders.
- We contribute to the platform using our modern technology stack, including Python, AWS, React, Docker, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and GitLab CI/CD.
