Amber Employment Services LtdWe are supporting our client with an urgent requirement for an experienced Programme / Project Manager to help establish structure and momentum across a suite of projects.
This role will focus on programme set-up, documentation, and planning, rather than day-to-day delivery alone.The successful individual will bring strong programme management experience, be comfortable working with ambiguity, and enjoy creating clear frameworks that others can work from.
There is a hybrid working pattern - with a requirement to work three days on-site in the Addlestone area (Surrey) and two days remotely.
Create and standardise core programme and project documentation templates, to be used consistently across multiple projects
(e.g. project initiation documents, RAID logs, governance packs, reporting templates)
Develop clear "plan on a page" views for a number of projects, providing senior stakeholders with visibility of scope, milestones, dependencies, and risks
Help kick-start and mobilise projects, ensuring the right foundations are in place from the outset
Work closely with stakeholders to understand priorities and translate them into practical, usable plans
Support good programme governance and reporting practices across the wider portfolio
Essential Experience & Skills:
Proven experience running programmes of work (not just single projects)
Recognised Project / Programme Management qualification
(e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, APM, PMP or equivalent)
Strong background in programme set-up, planning, and governance
Highly organised, structured, and confident working at pace
Comfortable operating with limited initial detail and helping shape clarity
Experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Background in public sector, regulated, or transformation programmes
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
