About The Role We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis, playing a pivotal role in our ongoing technology transformation initiatives. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing automation and monitoring platforms that underpin critical business applications.

Your expertise will help standardize technical processes, optimize cloud infrastructure, and enhance automation practices across our organization.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud computing, automation, and programming, with demonstrated experience in AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and Python. You should have hands-on experience with containerized applications using ECS, Fargate, and Docker, along with familiarity with serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and EventBridge.

Strong object-oriented programming skills in Python, including development of Lambda functions and automation scripts, are essential. Practical knowledge of CI/CD workflows, code linting, and GitHub Actions is required. Additionally, you should have significant experience with Unix/Linux administration and troubleshooting, as well as familiarity with application monitoring tools like AppDynamics and observability platforms such as Grafana or InfluxDB.

Preferred qualifications include experience with ServiceNow ITOM, networking and web technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP, REST APIs), web development in Node.js or Java, and project management tools like Jira and Confluence. A basic understanding of Microsoft Azure services, strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to work are also highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to modernization, automation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities As a Senior Python Developer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Driving the design, deployment, and management of automation and monitoring platforms to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
• Establishing and maintaining best practices across security, compliance, and cost management to support scalable growth.
• Building and maintaining monitoring and alerting infrastructure, including configurations and dashboards that communicate critical information to stakeholders.
• Configuring automation workflows for new system integrations using existing frameworks and managing job configurations through Control-M scheduling.
• Developing new automated processes and scripts using Python, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and maintainable.
• Supporting capacity planning and troubleshooting across infrastructure and application platforms to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Creating GitHub Actions automations for deploying code into testing and production environments seamlessly.
• Collaborating with technical leadership to break down epics and stories into manageable tasks, ensuring clear delivery pathways.
• Working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Delivery Managers to shape and refine project backlogs, maintaining high-quality standards and accurate ticket statuses.
