Job description Remote: Hybrid Software Engineer (Python) – £55,000 – West London (2 Days On-Site)

I’m working with a product-led tech company in West London who are hiring for a Software Engineer to join their Data Cloud engineering team.

They’re building out scalable, high-availability platforms using modern AWS services (ECS/EKS, Lambdas, Serverless), and need someone who enjoys working across infrastructure, backend, and DevOps tooling.

You’d be joining a collaborative team, working across a mix of containerised apps and serverless solutions – and helping to drive best practice across CI/CD, automation, and data processing. This role requires you to code in Python, build serverless and use DevOps.

Tech Stack & Focus Areas

• Cloud & Containers: AWS ECS or AWS EKS
• CI/CD & Tooling: GitLab, Docker
• Backend: Python
• Serverless: AWS Lambdas, Serverless architecture
• Data Layer: PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Athena
• DevOps: Strong emphasis on automation, scalability, and clean infrastructure

• Hybrid working (2 days a week in the West London office)
