Are you a high-caliber Python Developer with a passion for market microstructure and algorithmic execution? This role puts you at the heart of European Cash Equities, where you will bridge the gap between quantitative research and production-level trading logic. You'll leverage advanced data analysis and high-frequency trading principles to refine models that drive real-world market impact.

The Role

• Design and implement sophisticated algorithmic trading logic using Python to optimize execution performance.
• Build and refine quantitative models by analyzing vast datasets of trading outcomes and market signals.
• Partner closely with engineering teams to integrate complex research into robust, scalable production systems.
• Inhabit an execution consulting capacity, working directly with global clients to review model behavior and performance feedback.
• Backtest and validate strategies against European equities market data to identify alpha-generating opportunities.

What You'll Need

• Exceptional Python development skills with a focus on data-heavy applications (exposure to Java is a significant plus).
• Deep understanding of Electronic Trading strategies, market microstructure, and order book dynamics.
• Strong quantitative mindset with a track record of applying statistical research to financial markets.
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems and high-throughput data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex quantitative concepts to technical teams and institutional clients.
