The role

What you'll do

  • Join our client, a digital partner embedded with this central government body for over four years

  • Own a part of the service end to end, sometimes one nobody else is touching
  • Write production Python for a live, open-source public service
  • Help the platform scale as courts send in more judgments every week
What you'll bring
  • Strong commercial Python
  • The confidence to take a problem, shape it and ship it without hand-holding
  • Live-service habits: tests, code review, CI/CD
Bonus points
  • MarkLogic
  • XML and structured data (XPath, XQuery, XSLT)
  • Django, AWS, Docker
  • An interest in legal tech, open data or public services
