Systep are looking for an experienced

• *Python Developer**

to join us on a contract basis. This is a fully remote opportunity for UK-based professionals, working in an EST time zone. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a large and long-term project!

• *Role Overview:**

As a Python Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating scalable backend systems, with a strong focus on Salesforce integrations and data workflows.

• *Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain robust Python-based applications and services
• Integrate and extend Salesforce platforms (APIs, data models, workflows)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of systems
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical best practices
• *Requirements:
• 6+ years’ experience delivering production systems across AI, FinTech, Big Data, and healthcare domains
• Strong hands-on use of Python in backend development, data processing, and AI-driven applications
• Built and integrated complex APIs and services, supporting scalable, data-heavy platforms
• Applied Python in machine learning and computer vision using PyTorch, Keras, and OpenCV
• Experience working with LLM tooling and AI systems (LLaMA.cpp, Ollama) in practical environments
• Contributed to big data pipelines and analytics systems using Apache Spark and Hadoop
• Deployed and maintained Python-based services in cloud environments (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Take on technical leadership responsibilities, solving complex problems and mentoring junior engineers
