I'm hiring a Mid-Level Python Engineer to join a small, fast-moving engineering team building live automated trading systems across betting and prediction market exchanges. This is hands-on engineering where speed, reliability and correctness genuinely matter. You’ll work alongside experienced quants, traders and developers, owning everything from low-latency data and execution systems to model deployment, risk, simulation and observability.

What we're looking for

• 3 commercial Python experience
• Solid knowledge of async Python & concurrency
• Experience building and operating production services
• Third-party API integration experience, ideally WebSockets / real-time feeds
• Strong SQL & relational database skills
• Excellent debugging and production problem-solving ability
• Good understanding of state management and resilient systems
• Someone comfortable taking ownership and working autonomously
• Strong testing and code-review practices
• Comfortable making extensive use of modern AI coding tools
