Extremely well funded market intelligence platform serving leading VC and PE firms is hiring a Senior Python Engineer.

The product provides real-time data and AI-driven insights that investment teams rely on daily to identify and evaluate opportunities in private markets.

🧑 💻What you'll be doing:

• Build and ship production-grade backend services and APIs in Python and FastAPI powering the AI features
• Develop the infrastructure and orchestration layer for agentic AI capabilities in the product
• Work deep in Postgres and ClickHouse to drive intelligent retrieval and AI-driven analysis

🎯 What they're looking for:

• 5–15 years backend engineering, with Python in production
• Python and production API development — FastAPI
• PostgreSQL
• Has shipped production APIs you personally built and owned, not just maintained inherited corporate systems
• Has built or deployed AI/LLM features into production — agentic workflows, RAG, tool use
