Remote Java Developer (SC Cleared)

Requirements

Must have:

- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for back-end development.

• Experience with AWS services, including RDS, ECR, and EC2.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Concourse, Argo CD, or Flex.
• Ability to work autonomously as a software engineer and contribute to DevOps initiatives.
• SC Clearance is required.
• We require all employees to meet the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
• This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
• We are unable to consider candidates who require sponsorship or hold any type of visa.

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain back-end systems using Java and Spring Boot.

• Work with AWS technologies including RDS, ECR, and EC2.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm.
• Use CI/CD tools such as Concourse, Argo CD, or Flex to automate build, test, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to support infrastructure as code and automation efforts.
• Develop basic React applications to invoke and present back-end data.
• Take ownership of tasks, working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
