I am hiring for Senior Data Platform Engineer – DevOps (Java/Data Streaming/Python)

Location: Glasgow, UK (Hybrid – 2–3 Days Onsite)

Job Description

• Design and develop scalable backend services and data platforms using Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python
• Build and maintain microservices and REST APIs ensuring high performance, resilience, and scalability
• Implement event-driven architectures and real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka
• Develop data integration, transformation, and persistence layers with MongoDB and other data stores
• Apply DevOps best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, code reviews, and production stability improvements
