Senior Full Stack Engineer - Angular/Node

Senior Angular/Node Engineer | Remote | £600/day Umbrella | Immediate Start

We’re looking for two hands-on Senior Fullstack Node.js engineers to join an established delivery team building a new business-critical operations platform. This is a chance to add pace to a high-priority project.

The role The platform is built on a third-party product that the client has bought. You’ll focus on its foundations, making sure it’s robust, well tested and ready to scale. Your work will include:

• Adding automated test coverage across the codebase
• Improving and refactoring the data model
• Fixing and improving an existing system that needs remediation
• Working alongside the wider team, which covers the product build and integrations

What we’re looking for

• Deep Node.js experience. This is the core of the role, and most of the work is in Node. Strong general TypeScript/Node engineers will do well here.
• Cloud experience. The platform runs on GCP, including Firebase and Firestore. GCP is preferred, but strong AWS or Azure engineers will also be considered.
• JavaScript frontend experience. The frontend is Angular. Angular is a plus, but React, Vue or similar is fine.
• Immediate Availability
• Comfort with AI-assisted development. The team uses Claude Code heavily across the build, including for UI work, so you should be keen to work this way.
• A track record of improving existing codebases, not just building new ones.
