Requirements
Must have:
- Advanced Python coding skills - Strong knowledge of AWS - Experience across the full lifecycle of machine learning model development, including production deployment - Good knowledge of modern software engineering best practices, microservices, TDD, DDD, and common design patterns - Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills - Experience with Databricks, PostgreSQL, Amazon RedShift, or MLflow would be beneficial but is not essential
Responsibilities:
- Work as a senior, hands-on Machine Learning Engineer within a cross-functional team - Collaborate with Data Scientists and Software Engineers on complex insurance underwriting and pricing systems - Develop data models and implement machine learning algorithms - Contribute to greenfield projects around forecasting and pricing - Participate in technical discussions within a collaborative Agile environment - Mentor more junior team members if desired
