Requirements
Must have:
- 5 years commercial software engineering experience - Strong backend development skills in Java, JavaScript or TypeScript - Experience building systems in cloud environments - Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB - Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices - Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset - Desirable: AWS serverless, Kafka, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, Terraform
Responsibilities:
- Design, build and enhance scalable backend services and distributed systems - Develop high-quality software using TDD and clean engineering practices - Collaborate with senior, principal and cross-functional teams - Own delivery of new features and technical improvements - Support production systems, monitoring and incident resolution - Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices - Contribute to cloud-native and event-driven architecture decisions
