eSourcing DataWe are seeking a motivated Software Development Intern to join our team for an 8–12 week summer sprint. This role is specifically designed for 2nd or 3rd year university students who want hands-on experience working on real-world software products in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
You will contribute to live projects, work closely with experienced developers, designers, and product leads, and build practical skills that support a future career in software engineering.
Support the design, development, and testing of web-based and/or software applications
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Assist with debugging, testing, and performance optimisation
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams
Participate in code reviews and agile development processes
Apply best practices in software development and version control
Who This Role Is For
Currently enrolled 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate students in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
Able to commit to a full-time or part-time 8–12 week internship
Basic experience with one or more programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or similar)
Some familiarity with web technologies, APIs, or databases is beneficial
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a team
Intensive, hands-on experience delivering real software in a sprint-based environment
Exposure to modern development tools and agile workflows A portfolio of meaningful, production-oriented work
Potential opportunity for future internships or a full-time role
