Requirements
Must have:
- Strong experience in defence or national security environments, with SC Clearance or eligibility for clearance - Strong technical background in languages such as C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP - Strong grounding in software engineering best practices and Computer Science fundamentals - Natural leadership ability with a passion for building teams and shaping technology
Responsibilities:
- Partner with our CTO to build and lead a new engineering function - Lead and grow our defence-focused engineering team - Define technical strategy, standards, and best practices - Provide hands-on technical leadership across complex, distributed systems - Mentor engineers and drive learning and development initiatives - Ensure adoption of modern tools, technologies, and engineering approaches
