Having recently expanded our in-house Technology team, we're delighted to be growing it further by hiring another experienced Software Engineer.
Build software that powers the UK's largest guitar retailer

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing technology team and help shape the future of our award-winning platforms.
This is a hands-on role where your work will be used daily by customers, store teams, and the wider business.
This is a hybrid position based in our Linwood office. Collaboration matters to us, and we value building great software together while enjoying the process.

Building and evolving mission-critical platforms used across our entire business
Shipping features regularly using modern CI/CD pipelines

What you'll be doing
Designing, building, testing, and maintaining features across our eCommerce and EPOS platforms
Working across front-end and back-end, delivering clean, scalable solutions
Translating real user and business needs into high-quality, maintainable code
Building reusable components and libraries to support future development
Participating in code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions
Helping shape our engineering practices, tooling, and processes as we grow
What we're looking for
You're a well-rounded software engineer who enjoys solving problems, learning new things, and taking pride in what you build.
Essential experience & skills
Commercial experience with C# and .NET
Entity Framework and SQL
React, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
HTML, CSS, Sass
Experience with code reviews and cross-browser testing
Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Desirable (but not essential)
ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Web API / REST services
Razor npm, webpack
Windows Server / IIS

This role is hybrid, not remote. Applicants must live within reasonable commuting distance of our office and be happy working on-site three days per week.
